Künstlerischer Werdegang:

Das künstlerische Schaffen und die Liebe zum Theater durchzieht ihr Leben – ob in der Kindheit, die sie mit vielem Malen, Singen und Zeit in der Natur verbrachte, oder als Jugendliche und junge Frau, die die Bildhauerei und das Aktzeichnen für sich entdeckte. Heute ist sie u. a. gelernte Dekorateurin und Wildkräuterexpertin. Seit 2007 ist Kerstin Druivenga-Kreitsmann Statistin am Staatstheater in Oldenburg.

Bisherige Tätigkeiten und Projekte:

Während der Familienjahre künstlerische Früherziehung in Kindergärten, Schulen, der ‚Werkschule‘ und der ‚Kunstschule Klex‘ in Oldenburg

Heute selbständige Tätigkeit in der Umweltbildung zu den Themen ‚Gelebte Nachhaltigkeit‘, ‚Kunst im öffentlichen Raum‘

Bezug zu Oldenburg:

Als Kind auf dem Land groß geworden, zog es sie als Jugendliche in die Stadt, als Erwachsene reiste sie gern in ferne Länder, studierte in anderen Städten - und kehrte glücklich in die Heimat Oldenburg zurück, um dort Familie zu leben.

Motivation zum Projekt:

„Dass Künstler und Laien gemeinsam neue Wege entdecken, ist ein großartiger Ansatz, denn durch die Vielfalt der Ideen können neue Formate entwickelt und umgesetzt werden. Ich sehe mich als Ideenschmiedin: Im Kleinen das Große sehen… und letztlich dem Publikum wieder ein Funkeln in die Augen zu zaubern und Begeisterung erzeugen! 
Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf die geplanten Festivals - und vielleicht finden die kulturellen Darbietungen ja sogar unter freiem Himmel in der Natur statt? 
Mein Motto: Künstlerisches Schaffen öffnet die Herzen! Künstlerisches Schaffen dient als Multiplikator des Glücks! Und genau dies treibt mich an, dieses Projekt in Oldenburg zu realisieren und am Leben zu halten!“

Artistic Background:

Artistic creation and a love of theater are themes that run throughout her life - from her childhood, which she spent often painting, singing and spending time in nature, or as a teenager and young woman, who discovered sculpture and drawing nudes. Today she is, among other things, a trained decorator and Herbalist. Since 2007, Kerstin Druivenga-Kreitsmann has been a supernumerary actress at the Oldenburgische Staatstheater

Previous activities and projects:

Her early artistic education in kindergarten, various schools, the 'Werkschule' and the 'Kunstschule Klex' in Oldenburg contributed to her lifelong affinity for art.
Today self-employed in environmental education on the topics of 'Living Sustainability', 'Art in Public Space'. 

Relationship to Oldenburg:

Growing up in the countryside as a child, she was drawn to the city as a teenager by contrast; and as an adult, she enjoyed traveling to distant countries, studying across the globe - but she always happily returned to her native Oldenburg to live with her family.

Motivation for the project:

"The fact that artists and amateurs discover new paths together is a great approach, because the diversity of ideas means that new formats can be developed and implemented. I see myself as a thinker: seeing the big in the small... and ultimately bringing a sparkle back into the audience's eyes and generating enthusiasm for the art form!
I am already looking forward to the planned festivals - and hope to have influence and maybe bring these cultural performances to the great... we shall see! 
My motto: Creativity opens hearts! Artistic creation serves as a multiplier of happiness! And this is exactly what drives me to realise this important project in Oldenburg and help sustain it!"
